2022: A Year in Review

2022 was a big year for The Tyre Collective! We built and piloted the next prototype, formed new partnerships, and continued to hit our milestones. We were winners of King Charles III and Sir Jony Ive’s Terra Carta Design Lab, exhibited at COP27, and received support from Advanced Propulsion Centre’s TDAP programme.

Our seed round is still open! As the impacts of tyre wear are becoming more apparent – from its discovery in 50-year-old ice cores to the death of marine life, we can no longer ignore this pollution. We need your help in shaping the future of clean mobility, reach out and see how you can support us!

London Pilot

Following our first on-vehicle test with CEVT and Volvo Cars in 2021, we piloted TC02 for 3 months with London-based logistics company Zhero. Capturing a high purity of ultra fine tyre particles and preventing them from being released into the environment. Here’s a sneak peak!

As we role into 2023, we are looking for partners to run larger pilots, work with OEMs on integration and continue to advance research on tyre wear.
